Even if your dog never sets foot onto a shoot, pet gundog training is a fantastic way to to fulfil their genetic instincts, give them the mental and physical stimulation they need to be calm and settled at home, learn impulse control around scent & prey, and build a rock solid relationship together.

Over the course of 4 weeks, the beginner gundog course uses reward based training methods to teach your dog:

• Recall whistle

• Stop/sit whistle

• Retrieving to hand

• Directional, memory and blind retrieves

• Hunting together

• Heelwork

• Steadiness and impulse control

The beginner gundog course is designed to be a welcoming, supportive environment open all breeds.​​​​​
